Join FUREEous Youth for the first show after the summer break as we talk about what young people are going back to school with in their bags, whether those are just textbooks and tools, or learned lessons, joy, pain or trauma. Also come learn about our new HeroGenesis comic zine project!

The FUREEousYouth Arts House [FYAH] Monthly Open Mic presents:
The FYAHouse Open Mic Series is a monthly Arts & Social Justice series which highlights the various challenges to young people in public housing and beyond; topics such as suicide prevention, police harassment & brutality, gun and domestic violence. After each monthly performance of poetry, music, dance, and/or video/film FYAH company members will facilitate a youth panel discussion to address the issues presented each evening.
Food and drink can be purchased with cash, credit or debit at cafe and bar.
**NOTE: All Performing and supporting youth will be provided with a full dinner and transportation at the end of the night (must coordinate in advance). If any one is interested in performing at future events, please contact Mo Beasley (see information above).
