While racial profiling and abuse of black people has been an ever-present experience for so many of us and for countless generations, social media has made it easy to virally share these countless examples instantly and frequently. Join us for a humorous and though-provoking show and panel discussion on black folks being profiled while just going about their everyday lives like everybody else!
In partnership with some of FUREE’s allies we’ll be including a specific focus on housing this month as we explore and discuss ways in which race plays out in housing inequity as well as how we can understand housing justice through a lens of racial justice.
The FYAH will also be soft-launching the very 1st issue of their new comic-zine publication “NYCHA 2050- Who’s World Is This?!” featuring the ‘Sankofa Force!’, a new band of superheroes ready to take on the fight and struggle to build a better vision and world for our future!
This show is NOT the one to miss!
