All of these questions & more will be examined & discussed as we bring the residents of NYC together\, to build relationships and unite our efforts towards the changes we all want and deserve! \nThis Renters Assembly will be a place for folks to share & gather information\, network with other communities facing similar struggles\, & brainstorm how to push the housing movement forward more united! \nFrom 12pm to 6pm on Saturday\, September 23rd FUREE and other housing organizing allies will be hosting this citywide Renters Assembly as a way to bring residents from across the city together in order to build towards a more powerful housing movement that can win guaranteed low-income and affordable homes for all! \nThe agenda for the day includes collaborative community discussions\, guest speakers who have been invited to lend their experiences and lessons learned in fight against housing injustice and elected officials who’ve committed their time to sharing their explicit positions on the NYC housing crisis and answering community questions/concerns.  There will also be time for specific topic-based small group workshops that include leadership development and skills building as well as strategic brainstorming around current community housing fights being waged across our city! \nThe Renters Assembly will provide a light lunch\, snacks and beverages will be available to all free-of-charge to all RSVP’d participants\, and remaining participants who did not register in advance will have this available on a first-come first-served basis. \nWe will also provide a wealth of resources\, swag and other perks for participants to take home ree-of-charge to all RSVP’d participants\, and remaining participants who did not register in advance will have this available on a first-come first-served basis! \nShare FUREE with the World:TweetMorePrintLike this:Like Loading...\n\n	Related\n
