Public housing stands as a jarring testament to the severe inequality of housing conditions and is the last stronghold of truly affordable housing for our low-income neighbors. They’ve survived decades of under funding, abandonment by all levels of government, & rapidly gentrifying neighborhoods that surround them.
We rally to protect what remains of our public assets, stand ready to fight for our most vulnerable residents & demand that public assets be in public control with sufficient funding from government to see them THRIVE!
We will be gathering in front of 250 Broadway starting at 12:30pm and will begin promptly at 1pm.
